Diagnosed our problem (CORRECTLY) over the phone while we were still on the lake. Even told us where the closest shop was to get the part. Funny thing is that the shop said that was not what was wrong and after we try it to bring the boat to them and they would hook it up and find out what was really wrong. Guess what, it was the problem and our vacation was saved.
No other shop would take the time or have the patience to do what Pro Boats did. Probably because most shops rely on a computer to tell them what is wrong and do not have the knowledge that is needed to really be an EXPERT.

"Pride in workman ship
I would and have refered friends and strangers to this company for boat repair. they are the pride in workman ship example of how to run a shop. if it is not done right it dose not leave the shop!! his staff is very well trained and if you contact mercury they will refer you to his shop as they had done myself when i needed some special work done on my boat. now no one else works on but rick purdue. at pro boats it is " JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME PEROID " and i give very high marks!!!

"Found on Mercury dealer locator. After two other shops told said ther wasn't anything wrong with my engine. They took my boat to the lake and tested it then gave me two computer printouts showing before and after they fixed the problem. It was only getting 90% power with a bad sensor then another shop adjusted the engine wrong to make it work.
i took it to the river a now it runs great.
