Payment Methods
Cash, Wire Transfer, PayPal and most Debit, Visa & Mastercard credit cards are accepted. Credit card purchases are verified for your protection. As of January 1, 2016 we can no-longer accept Credit Card Payment over the Telephone.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping and Handling Charges: Items weighting less than 149# and are small package will be shipped within continental United States by USPS Priority or UPS Ground; Flat rate shipping is provided with Free Shipping on orders over 100.00. Your shopping cart reflects this flat rate shipping cost. This cost assumes all items in your cart are going to a single address within the continental United States. Some items may require special handling due to their size and/or weight, which will result in an additional charge.
If shipping outside continental U.S shipping and handling charges are based on weight & size of your order. All shipments are insured for your protection.When we process your order we will make any necessary adjustments in shipping costs, notify you of changes via email and request approval of the additional charges. Shipping rates are subject to change without notice.
NOTE: All engines, powerheads, sterndrives, etc. are shipped by LTL Truck Freight.
PRO BOATS provides a choice of 5 or more shippers to choose from or you can provide your own Freight Company to ship your product.
Most orders will be shipped UPS Ground or USPS. We reserve the right to ship via other shipping carriers. We ship via UPS or USPS in the continental U.S.
Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii and International orders will have an additional shipping cost applied. Delivery Time: Allow 3-8 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental U.S. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and International Orders.
Consolidated Shipments: Entire orders will be shipped together if possible.
Tracking: The day we ship your order, we will send you a shipping notification e-mail with your Tracking Number. That evening, you can track your package.
Heavy Freight Shipments: Items over 149# and/or Size of Box Length, Width, and Depth Added; is over 120 Inches will be shipped by Truck. This means your item will arrive by a large commercial vehicle and the address you provided for receipt of item MUST be a Commercial Business with a Loading Dock or a Forklift to remove the item from transport vehicle. Lift Gate Service is NOT Provided. If lift gate service is necessary it must be stated with initial order and by ordering item, you agree to pay the additional charges. If the carrier determines your receiving address is a residence (or a business in a residential neighborhood); by ordering this item, you agree to pay any additional residential delivery charges.
PRO BOATS will provide five or more quotes from Freight Carriers for rates and delivery time, ETA and you can decide on which Carrier to use; or you can provide your own Freight Company to ship your product.
All items are shipped (Freight On Board) F.O.B. San Dimas, CA. USA or F.O.B. Origin.
PRO BOATS liability on shipped container and contents ends when item is shipped.
Shipping Insurance is applied to all shipments; PRO BOATS will add shipping insurance provided by the freight carrier to your shipment.
PRO BOATS is not under any circumstances responsible for damage incurred to items during transit.

Sales Tax:
Sales tax of 9.5% is charged on orders shipped to a California address.
No sales tax is charged on orders shipped outside California.
Purchaser is responsible for Sales Tax in their state.
Part Fulfillment Policies:
Items that have been superseded to a new part number or have been updated will automatically be shipped instead of original part number unless there has been a price increase; at which time you will be e-mailed the information and asked to approve such price increase or cancel ordered item.
When available Mercury Marine labeled products will replace Quicksilver products.
If an item is backordered, we will notify you via e-mail. If Shipment is scheduled more than 30 days after the order date: We will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. No service charges will be applied to backorders not shipped within 30-days and canceled.
Filling Backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available.
No longer available parts:
(NLA), Due to Manufacturers constantly changing inventory and suppliers, it is impossible to know at time of order if these items are still available. We will make all efforts to obtain the part for our clients. We will notify the client via email if a part ordered is no longer available.
Individual product descriptions are claims of the manufacturer and/or distributor and are not guaranteed accurate.
Sales Rights:
Prices subject to change without notice. Mistakenly posted prices on the website do not obligate us to honor those incorrect prices. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason.
Products sold by PRO BOATS are warranted by the manufacturer. Product warranties vary per manufacturer and per product. PRO BOATS and/or its affiliates are not responsible for manufacturers warranties. PRO BOATS is not responsible for expenses involved for removal, re-installation or transportation of product for warranty repair or replacement. Items returned to provehicleparts.com for warranty processing must be approved beforehand & have return authorization number and follow processes stated in Returned & Exchange Policy.
To the extent that Goods are warranted by their original manufacturers, also to the extent that such warranties are assignable to Buyer, Seller assigns to Buyer any rights and remedies it has relating to such Goods. Buyer agrees to review and follow the manufacturer’s installation guidelines and instructions as well as policies regarding installation of unauthorized equipment. It is understood that any violation of these policies and procedures voids any applicable warranty. Seller warrants goods pursuant to the item manufacturer’s warranty policy statements, except as stated in above warranty policy statement. Seller makes no warranty expressed or implied, with respect to goods sold; including any warranty merchantability of fitness for any particular purpose regarding the administration of manufacturer’s warranty or product return policy.

RETURN POLICY in GENERAL: Contact sales@proboats.com for a Return Authorization Number before returning your item.
All eligible returns must be postmarked no later than 30 days from the original client ship to date. Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and in unopened, clean, undamaged and non-marked Manufacturer’s original packing material. Client pays all return shipping charges. You must include a copy of your invoice with all returns. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Shipments that are refused, returned after 30 days or returned without a Return Authorization Number by us will be subject to to a 40% restock fee.
Returns: Must be preauthorized with a Return Authorization Number by us and are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee; $5.00 minimum. (Individual items with a price of $5.00 or less may not be returned.) These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original PayPal account or Credit Card. PayPal fees are non-refundable.
Exchanges: Must be preauthorized with a Return Authorization Number by PRO BOATS and returned goods are subject to a 6% + $1.00 handling/re-stocking fee; $2.00 minimum. Shipping and handling charges will be added to the new shipped items.
Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item no additional charges will be incurred. Notify us within 3-days of receipt of item and we will issue a call return tag, replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charges.
Client Order Error: Incorrect client orders can be exchanged for any other item but must be pre-authorized by PRO BOATS and returned goods are subject to a 6% handling/re-stocking fee; $1.00 minimum. Exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and in unopened, clean, undamaged and non-marked Manufacturer’s original packing material.
The client shall pay the additional shipping and handling charges.
Cancel Order: At provehicleparts.com we are committed to shipping your order as fast as possible. Most Orders are processed within 1-hour. Orders received before 1:00pm PST are usually picked and shipped the same day. Please send a cancellation request via e-mail to sales@provehicleparts.com.
If we receive your request prior to 1:00pm PST on the day you placed the order, you will be charged a 3% order cancellation charge. Order day is 1:01pm PST thru 1:00pm PST. Cancellation after 1:00pm PST same day and order is NOT shipped, you will be charged a 12% order cancellation charge; this charge is to help pay for Credit Card charges incurred by provehicleparts.com, for the original order processing and refund payment processing. If you want to make a change of item in your order within the same day, prior to shipment, then no charges will be applied. Orders after this time period cannot be stopped as they are in process at one of our seven warehouses across the U.S. picked for shipment or already shipped. Cancellations after this time period are treated as returned goods and shall follow guidelines for returned goods.
RETURN POLICY: Power Assemblies, Boats etc.
Engines / Sterndrives / Long Blocks / Powerheads / Gearcases / Inflatable Boats are not returnable once received. All items are products of Mercury Marine & Affiliated Companies
Purchaser of prior listed items “must check original serial numbers” and are responsible for choice of product ordered.
Any defects or Warranty Issues can and will be dressed by any Authorized Mercury Service Center; under Mercury Marine Warranty Policy.
Administration Fees are non-refundable – no-exceptions period.
Items shipped to Purchaser that are incorrect shall be replaced with correct item and provehicleparts.com shall provide return shipment; purchaser must notify provehicleparts.com of incorrect item within 3-days of receipt.
Any damaged, broken or non-operative items covered under Mercury Marine Warranty and once installed can be repaired or replaced by any authorized Mercury dealer.
Any shipments with missing items be should reported immediately to provehicleparts.com and the Freight company.
All items are shipped F.O.B. Point of Origin.

Shipping Terms
are FOB provehicleparts.com Dock. PRO BOATS is responsible for ensuring that the product and the shipping carton are not damaged when the freight carrier takes possession. Customers are responsible for shipping damages or losses regardless of carrier or freight payment terms. Customers are responsible for filing freight claims with carriers.
Purchasing shipping Insurance is recommended.
PRO BOATS shall provide Client with name of Freight company and Tracking Number after shipment of items.
Freight damage is covered by Freight company insurance and Freight company should be notified immediately.
Damage must be photographed and e-mailed to Freight company and provehicleparts.com

Return Shipping Instructions: Return via prepaid UPS, FEDEX, or USPS mail. Insure shipment for full value of purchase.
Use original packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping.
Return/Exchange Instructions: Print Return Authorization Number on outside of box.
Enclose a copy of your packing list or e-mail Invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions.
